I've been an educator for 20 years and have many experiences that would've made most people quit. I went 12 years without missing a day. But recently this anxiety has overtaken my life. I start sweating, can't think straight, hands shaking, something in my throat and chest, and it's getting worse exponentially. I dungy go back to work for over a week and it got better but then I was threatened that I would be fired, understandable, so I came back today and almost passed out. My GPA is out until November. He has prescribed sending for me in years passed and I woul never get refilled as it didn't seem I needed. Now the nurse won't listen, I've been to two other Dr's who suggest either quitting my job or Buspar which made me dizzy and nauseated. No one is listening to me. I seriously feel like I going crazy. I can't afford to quit until I find something else because of my children. I can't afford to keep going to Dr's who don't think it's serious. Someone please help me.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I totally understand. I ended up quitting my career because the stress was unbearable and it was affecting my health. Doesn't your place of employment offer a leave of absence of more than a week? I was able to take off three months with a doctors order. I got it from a psychiatrist. You shouldn't have to go through this and be at work.
you're not going crazy. It's just that your mind and body are telling you it's overstressed. That exact thing happened to me.
not sure how your place of employment works but for most places if you get a doctors order whether it's a family doctor or psychiatrist, you can take a medical leave of absence.
in the meantime, a good thing to do would be to try to calm down your mind as much as possible. It sounds like you may be panicking. If you have access to YouTube, you can search for panic attack and they will guide you through it .
do some slow deep breathing to relax the mind . A short audio on proper breathing during anxiety and panic is also found on YouTube. When the adrenaline takes over or you get all kinds of symptoms.
Search for "mindfulness breathing guided meditation 10 minutes." It helps keep you focused and more in control of the anxiety and symptoms. There are many meditations for anxiety that completely relax my mind, body, and symptoms. The more we think about anxiety the worse it will get so do that deep breathing which is really important!
I think if you were able to take a leave from work and regularly speak with a therapist who specializes in anxiety, that would really help.
that combined with the possibility of an anti-anxiety medication that agrees with you and also the meditations . This would be a great start.
if your doctor is not around, a psychiatric doctor could prescribe a medication for you.
I do hope you feel better soon please let us know how you're doing!
Remember we are always here for you . You are never alone! ??????🙂

I'm sorry you are feeling this way.🙏Those are probably panic attacks you are experiencing. You do need help. If they aren't taking you serious look for someone that does. Get another doctor. You should be treated I know how this can greatly affect someone. Hope you feel better. 🙌💖💖

Your doctor should prescribe the medication. Have you tried a therapist? Maybe they can prescribe it and teach you ways to calm down when having a panic attack. Deep breathing, visual imagery, self talk. There's also some GP that prescribe anti anxiety medication. A psychiatrist also prescribe meds. I hope all goes well.💖💖
