It feels like something is stuck down my throat

I've recently started taking Citalopram 10mg once daily in the morning as prescribed by my doctor because of feeling depressed and I'm on my 3rd day of taking the tablets and it feels like there's something stuck down my throat constantly and I'm hardly eating and drinking because I haven't got the energy too so what should I do?

    hi Curtis,  Did your Dr prescribe the Lansoprazole for you?    Or did you just get them yourself?       If you're only on the third day of Citalopram what is this 'second 'type of antidepressant? you mention, are you taking all three? Definitely got to let your Dr know  what you are taking, Good luck to you Curtis,  hope you feel better soon but it's early days yet for the antidepressants.

    My doctor prescribed me the Lansoprazole and I've been on them tablets for at least a year now and the only other stuff I'm on is flucloxacillin antibiotics which is a liquid stuff 4x a day and the first tablet I was on was sertraline but then within 2 days I was moved to citalopram but I don't take all my medication at once

    Just an update on the situation the doctor wasn't very helpful she has given me there tablets that are smaller in size which I have to take one twice daily she thinks the problem is acid reflux

    Sorry for not updating everyone but it’s been a long 3 months for myself firstly I’ve come off my antidepressants because I started to have difficulty of swallowing so I saw a doctor and they referred me to see an ENT so I gave it a couple of weeks so I phoned up the hospital booking appointment department and gave them my details and there said we haven’t received any referral yet bearing in mind I saw the doctor on the 15th February and I phoned on the 9th March so I contacted the doctors surgery and they said it will be sent the Monday after the weekend so I gave it until the 23rd March so I phoned the hospital number again and they still haven’t got anything so I rung the doctors back and said I wasn’t happy about what has happened and they said there was a hold up with it but finally on the 29th March the hospital received the referral but it took the hospital 3 weeks to contact me with an appointment which I had on the 27th April and everything is ok but they now want me to have some X-Ray done but through the whole time of waiting I was only eating soup but now I’m slowly getting back to eating solid food and I have managed to beat my anxiety and go out more and go on the bus on my own and go into packed areas
