It's back.

Started my period yesterday and I noticed yet another flare up. Luckily it's still small and not painful. I had an abcess in January and had it lanced. I'm terrified that it will turn abcess. I had to take a month off of work and was stuck on the couch for over a week.

I'm wearing pads and doing baths. Anyone notice that your period makes these things worse? It seemed smaller yesterday.

Also, it seems my lady lub has decreased significantly after the surgery. Anyone else experienced this?

Could I ask what you abcesses looked like? Am wondering if that is what I was experiencing a month ago thanks for help. Got mine during my period also!

It was huge, girl. The doctor and nurse felt terrible for me. It hurt to do anything walking/sitting. It was about the size of a clementine orange and about 3 inches in length. Literally the most painful experience I've ever had.

I only had it lanced, never had a marpulazation. I've always been a very wet woman but after I started getting these cysts it seems to take me longer to get "ready" even if I'm turned on. But after having sex for a few moments I'm right back to normal. I heard that friction without lub can contribute to BC so I make sure I am well lubricated these days before penetration.
