It's Back On!!

Dear All,

Good News, my sister has just phoned me, she works at the Hospital I'm due to go into on Wednesday, she's been onto the computer and checked my details, I'm still down on the Admissions Waiting List for Surgery on 2.1.08 :D .

There must have been some kind of mix up :? , all I can think off is that they sent a letter out (21st Dec, 2nd Class Post) informing me that I might have to go to this other Hospital, then they rang me the same day to say that there had been a cancellation for 2nd Jan 08 and did I want to take it, I agreed to take this. Then they sent me another letter out 21st Dec, 1st Class Post) to inform me of my Admission Date & Time, and informed me to go for Bloods & MRSA Swab on 24th & 28th Dec.

I have to ring the Ward tomorrow to find out for definate but it sounds like I'm still on for my Operation on the 2nd Jan.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly.

    Thanks alot, I'm a little nervous but I can't wait to be out of pain. I'll be back on as soon as I can to let you all know how I am.

    hi angela, so glad that the op is still on, i hope that at last you,ll have something to look forward to, strange old world eh we all been on patient for months waiting for ops and now look we,r all going in around the same time, i,ll keep my fingers crossed for you that there will be a bed for you and that the op goes to plan, A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU, and get better soon eh. best of luck i,ll be thinking of you. gail

    Hi Angela,

    That's really good news! Just wanted to wish you good luck with your op....I'm sure it'll be all fine...just keep thinking positive thoughts and focus on your recovery from now as it can help to take your mind of the op. We'll all be thinking of you...come back when you're ready and let us now how things are going..
