It's only taken a year for that breakthrough....

After so much upset, anger, frustration and tears I have finally, finally found someone to trust. It's taken 2 books to explain about my disability and CLICK! I always knew this was PTSD through assault but have someone confirm that and see why I've been sobl sad feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm exhausted but relieved, I may get the answers I now need. You supportive people on here have helped to guide me and 1 very dear friend. Thank you so much.😁😀🤩

    Hi Sam18386,

I'm new to this forum but just wanted to say that I'm glad you finally found someone who understands and a diagnosis that you can work with! I had a similar experience and it's massive relief to have what you suspected yourself acknowledged and corroborated.

Best of luck in your recovery smile

Thank you I feel strong some days and not on others! I try my best to help others but I should take my own advice, I don't manage well some days I'm having intense counselling for assault, which I must be honest makes me feel terrible some days. Hope you get the help you need.x
