I brought canestan duo external cream and internal cream.. the itchiness has gone down abit more but I'm really sore and tender.. surely of it was thrush the creams would have worked? and what are all these little bumps.. I'm so worried... are they normal?!?

The bumps look normal to me. They are called vestibular papillae and almost every female of reproductive age has them, some more than others.. As for the itching, sometimes your PH level can be thrown off balance, especially following your period, and that can cause either a yeast infection or bacterial infection. Finish the yeast medicine, wait a couple of days and if still irritated visit a doctor, you might need antibiotics. These things are normal and just one of the sucky things that come with having a vagina... I would recommend taking probiotics if you find that your period triggered these symptoms.

the bumps are vp and are harmless the creams can take up to a week to work still looks a bit inflamed if its not gone after a week of cream have the doctor prescribe something a bit stronger also like sam said above probiotics work well for balancing yeast out they can be quite expensive tho
