Itching and tearing after 1st Mona Lisa

Hi, so I had my 1st Mona Lisa treatment over a week ago. The dr. told me it would feel like a sunburn afterwards and it wasn't to bad. They just told me to use Aquafor. About the 4th day intense itching starting and tearing. I have been taking baths in baking soda. I don't think I should use the Clob on the area. Anyone else experience this with the Mona Lisa? Please tell me it gets better. It's like it made my LS flare up!!

I had ML last year and I think I started having itch also. The Clobetasol is the answer. I did not feel much sunburn like feeling after ML. After the first couple of days I didn't feel much different although I think the skin looked healthier. I hope this helps with your decision. Oh, did you continue with using Aquaphor each day. It is really good for the dryness problem. But I believe treatment with Clobetasol at least twice a week will always be necessary.

Well the laser will  have removed a layer of skin, so you have to grow a new layer, whenever anything is healing, it generally itches.

Only, if you  think about it, is it the sort of itch where something is healing, or is it the really deep, tear off your skin itch you get with an LS flare?

having just had surgery a  couple of weeks ago, i have been itchy and sore, bit its in a line, where the surgery was, so i know its not the LS.

i was advised not to use steroid ointment on healing skin as it would stop it healing.

    Xx.
