Hi again everyone,
day 11 and yesterday I removed all my dressings.
All good and 3 of the incision sites are virtually invisible :-)
but the main site where the infil port is itches like crazy !
Im guessing this is just part of the healing process ?
Any tips ???
On on count down to mushy food yayyyy!

Lucky you. My wounds are gross. But same as you, really itchy. Its the healing process apparently.

Have ve you had a shower yet? I'm guessing not as you should probably keep them as dry as possible :-(
bio oil - good plan I will get some and try in a few days time ...
Must sty stock up with weeks in too !
Im also full of cold again, I was ill all over xmas & NY - managed to shift it just in time for the operation, but it has returned again :-( Sleepy and very blocked nose :-( just what a girl needs !!!

This is whole liquid diet is wearing a bit thin now isn't it !! Soup is ok but I'm really fed up with the shakes .... looking forward to some different flavours and some real food, even if it is puréed !
I put some Argan oil on my scars today an it has certainly eased the itching ! I think Bio Oil or maybe natural Lavender Oil would do the same ....
Roll on the weekend !

My scars ain't as itchy today.... they seemed to have eased off a bit since I've had a bath.

i was going to ask you the same thing but I wasn't quite sure if it was the done thing!! LOL!
I only had to do the pre op diet for 5 days before my op and since then I have lost a stone.
Because I've got this awful flu virus back ive been having a bit of honey in the odd Lem sip and I wonder if that has slowed the weight Loss down also ive been in bed for a few days so not at all active ! Before I got ill I was walking the dog and generally being busy and the weight was certainly coming off faster than the past few days......
How about you ??
Glad ad your scars aren't so itchy! I can't believe how much a scar can itch!!!
