Itchy, burning skin

Hi everyone haven't posted on here for a little while. My pain is bad at the moment and it is really affecting my sleep.  Along with this is the continual itcy and burning skin all over my body even my face feels as if it is crawling.  Wondered if anyone else suffers with this it is driving me MAD.

    hi Sue. I've had the itchy skin for around four and a half also weeks now. My pain's definitely flared up over the past week or two too, particularly abdominal pain / IBS. The itchy skin's definitely annoying. I've found one a day anti-histamines (loratadine) helps but I'm trying not to take them every day, only when it gets really bad. I started to get withdrawal symptoms after taking them for two weeks straight then missing a few days, so am now just taking one every few days. Just to let you know you're not alone, there are a few of us on here with the itchy skin.

      Thank you for your reply.  At the moment I feel as if I have a dry itchy mask on my face.  I am using products that. I would normally use.   I was out this week and just wanted to get home and clean my face but it made no difference.Like you I took Loratadine but they always make my head feel weird so can't use them on a regular basis.

      It certainly is a drag.   You can be ambling along reasonabley well and then it hits you out of the blue once again   x

      Please don't apologise, not you. I just suggested oils for skin, but seems they don't approve, hope you feel better soon x
