Itchy orangey yellow larvae in my apartment. What are they?

HI. Occasionally through the day but always at night, I get very itchy in my apartment. Several times when I have gone to itch I have found what looks like small orangey yellow larvae. They seem to be still or dead. But that could be the result of me scratching maybe. 

When I moved into my place there was a bad infestation of mice. I have killed most of them but I still get them sometimes. Not sure that is related but it has me worried. 

Could it be scabies or something?

At first, I thought I was going mad but I put some in a glass jar with a cap.

    I would see what permethermin does if it's mites it kills those if it's fleas tics etc kills those too so makes it hard to tell what it is but with larvae I would go to mites but at the same time fleas and ticks have the same. Coconut oil kills everything too 😊
