    Hi Martin,

Is it where you are injecting? I'm on Benepali. I get inflamed and itchy at the injection site for about 2 days after I inject, then it goes away.

Hi, I have no problem at the injection site, the rash is on both my forearms, wrist to elbow all round, I do get physical urticaria but this seems something different.

Hi Martin, I'm on Benepali, I haven't had a rash, but as Smiley said, just on the injection site. Have you a contact number with the Rheumatology department. Sometimes they can give advice. Takes time for them to get back to you if busy. Hope someone can help.

Hi Linda, the rash is on my forearms, and you're right it takes sometime for Rheumatology to get back in touch, I'll probably see what GP says, thanks.

Probably the best thing to do Martin. Although if I have asked my GP. He always says it's best if I contact the hospital, as they specialise in the treatment and know more. You can't win can you. Hope you get some answers. 😊

Hi Martin, where do your injections come from? Mine are delivered by Healthcare at Home and they have a pharmacist there to answer questions. I don't have any rashes or itches with Benepali by the way. Good luck.

I was on Cimzia (another anti-TNF) and had a terrible itchy rash from my elbows spreading up my forearm.  I was told (and read) that it was a possible side effect.  It was very successfully treated with a steroid cream.  I had the same rash from my knee down my shin.  It was VERY itchy and looked awful by the time I had scratched it to death! Since that episode, I use the steroid cream at the first sign of it returning and it seems to control it.  I am on Humira now, not because of the rash.  I understand it is a side effect on this too, so I am armed with the steroid cream.  No problems yet. I was so pleased with the results of anti-TNF, I feel that I would rather 'manage' this type of side effect if possible. I don't like to think of the more serious stuff it might be doing! Hope you get some solution to it! I feel for you!
