Itchy rash spreading on my body!

Posted , 3 users are following.

About two weeks ago i noticed 3 weird bumps on my arm, which i thought might have been bug bites. however, they didn't go away, and have started to spread an itchy rash over the area near them, as well as a couple other spots on my upper body. i also have what seemed like a scrape on my leg, but its just red, itchy, and a little swollen. i have pictures of all areas with the rash. please let me know if you think you know what this is, or any ways to treat it and make it go away!

Those three lumps in a row make me think it may be scabies. You need to treat as soon as possible to stop it spreading. I dont know where you are in the world so I dont know if you can buy the medication over the counter. You may need to treat it twice with 2 different treatments to make sure the mites are all killed. This is very contagious so all the people you are living with should be treated. All your bedding and clothes should be washed at a high temperature 60 deg. You should also not have any close contact with anyone else until you are clear, that includes sexual partners.Keep away from babies or anyone elderly.

The best advice is to see your doctor but you can try asking at your pharmacy/chemist or you can try Googling for Permethrin cream to be used first and Malathion liquid to be used 2 weeks later.
