Itchy scalp

Good evening lovely ladies,

I hope you’re all having a better day!!

I’ve read a few comments about sore/itchy scalps but do any of you get dry itchy spots/lumps?  I can’t dye my hair because of them.

Hi Haley yes I have sore spots round my ears in my hair , I never used to get them, they are really sore and painful, just another lovely symptom on this horrendous journey x

I donas well it feel like pimples and I get them on the back of the head and down my hair line behind my neck and itches and burn. I did the first time last yr and I got a shot of cortisone  of the head and it went away and I came back after 6 month so I went back to the Dermatologist  this January and gave me a bunch of stuff to put in them .

I think I may need to see a dermatologist. I don’t even want to get my hair cut because I’m embarrassed about having them  xx

They won’t cut your hair they can see the scalp  and i need to come back myself and get a biopsy and what they do they cut a very small piece of the scalp in different parts of the head that’s is inflamed.

Thank you for replying. I wasn’t thinking about the dermatologist cutting my hair, I’m embarrassed about going to the hairdresser to have mine done 😞 xx

Oh i misinterpret but I’m afraid to go to a hair stylist myself ! I want to color my hair but I’m afraid of the chemicals.

The last time I coloured my hair my ears slightly swelled and my head itched (I’m sure that was the start), I’m just going to let the grey hair take over xx
