I've started with itching too now (starting maybe two months ago, then went away, then returned), especially on forearms and calves (sometimes in random other places including scalp). It's sort of an itching/burning feeling. My skin definitely does not look dry or flaky, and the sensation is that it's not quite on the surface of the skin, so I don't think it's a drop in oil secretions.
I'm trying to pay attention to what I eat and wear, to see if there's any correlation with increases/decreases in itching. (For example, yesterday, I had almost no itching, and I didn't have any gluten or nuts and also didn't wear my leather bracelets. Will keep noting everything.)
I've got all these other symptoms going on (including pain, stiffness, twitches) and just hoping it's to do with being in perimenopause (I'm 49 and my periods are very heavy and starting to arrive every 3ish weeks). It is definitely frightening to not know where it's all going.
If you have any updates, please share. Thanks very much. I hope you all have a good day.
