Itchy tongue throat during cold

Posted , 2 users are following.

It's been 4 days since I began having a cold. It's gone much better but this pestering cough caused by and itch at the bottom of my tongue and throat KEEPS ME UP TILL 4 at night.

To explain: I'm currently waiting to be registered as a citizen in a country. I'm in a bit of an inconvenient distance with the nearest first aid.

This cough:

1.wakes me up every damn little time

2. Is dry ish. Recently I began spitting some mucus ( healing my cold i suppose)

3. Throat drops do nothing to it

4. Drinking just barely helps it

5. They might get so strong i may vomit.

Please, if anybody has the palest idea why the heck is this happening only at night like this... I'd give an arm and a leg to sleep.

It's literally the base of my tongue where the big papillae are and the sides of my throat on the same area. Whenever I breathe the air irritates them to itch. Ugh
