I just went to Dr. with same problem except mine wasn't the vagina inside, it was the whole vulva area.  I was also burning.  My Dr. said many times a woman will have a dermatitis type condition of the skin of the vulva and she prescribed a potent steroid cream that I used once a night for 2 weeks.  All is gone, praise our Lord.  Also I am 71 years old, post menopause and the Dr. advised I use the cream 3 times a week now.  I am better, much better.

I feel so bad for you..its truely miserable..the thing they always say is do not scratch..it continues the itch scratch cycle, like if you scratch a mosquito bite.keep your nails short and if you find you forget and scratch when you go to bed, wear gloves to keep you from causing damage to your skin.
