its been 18 days now seens my open inguinal hernia indirect surgery no mesh.. i still feel paiu

I still feel pain around my incision and bet. My incision ang my tummy is this normal.?

    Um, I have no idea but if I had to go with my gut feeling I would say not normal. If I were you I would be going back, you may have an infection in the incision area or something. Always better to go back, I just remember my aunt and I don't think she hurt that far out she really seemed to do pretty well after her surgery.

    Yes, I believe it is normal.   I had pain and also lots of itching for quite awhile after my surgery.   Had to alternate between using a heating pad and ice pack to aid in the healing.

    Perfectly normal on my 5th week post op and although I injuried myself it was only week 4 that I was pain free just keep taking your painkillers and walk you will be fine everyday helps! P.s don't do what I did I started intense running after for now am back to week 1
