Thanx for everyone answers and support to my previous questions. His cancer hasn't spread to bones. We was given options and he has decided to opt for the operation which he is due to have 6th Jan. They recomended it as only 58 and with his cancer being t3 and gleacon 7. Has the op been successful for most men out there.

Very good luck your two (your are both in it together)   I had RP on 5.1.13 and on reflection should have gone for Radio Therapy afterwards, which was offered.  As it was, cancer returned to the former prostate bed a year later.   This was not noticed by a PSA but by blood loss from the penis when straining (at the other end!)   After RT which ended in June 2014 I have been on Zoladex with the usual side affects.   PSA is maintained at 0.01.   Due for a CT Scan 20.1.16.   For others who may have slight incontenence problems (dribbles) Tena have a new product called Protective Shield Extra Light - 14 to a pack at £3.99 and they really do improve quality of life for us dribblers (not good when your sneeze or cough!!)
