Hi,

I am about 8 months in to my post viral fatigue syndrome. I just want to know if anyone has tried intravenous vitamin c therapy and what was the outcome ? I only ask as since i started to take mega dose vitamin c orally i have felt significantly better. I also want to know if there is a list of centres that carry out IV vitamin c in Scotland preferably or in England. I have looked at the Dove Clinic which is quite some way from Glasgow.

Thanks for reading

    Hi David.

Vitamin C is not stored in the body at any time. Any amounts other than the normal will be passed through your system in your urine.

If you did have intravenous Vit C.

If you were given or you took larger amounts you wouldn't achive much.. In one way and then quickly passed through urine.

Vit C isn't expensive but please seek advice on daily limits and keep your money in your pocket.

    Don't let me stop you......

    Just trying to help x

      Hi Linda,

The ONLY thing i have tried that last 8 months that has had a noticeable positive effect in a short space of time was when i started to mega dose on vitamiin c powder, when i reduce the amount i start to feel worse.  So there is something in this for me. According to many doctors some people do require massive amounts of vitc upwards of 20grame per day, and also the amount required is usually an indicator of how sick you are. So the more you need to sicker your body is.

I don't want to be maga dosing but if it is making me feel better then i have no choice.
