    Hello Ellie,

Your GP can give you a cortisone cream but you need to find the cause. I wondered whether perhaps you are allergic to wool. I know that wool makes me itch.

I would have thought that if it was washing powder or conditioner, it would cause problems all the time & not just on your thighs.

Let us know if you get down to the bottom of this, good luck!

Looks more like Eczema than psoriasis.

Have you recently gone from Summer clothes to Winter clothes, maybe something with wool in it ?Different tights or trousers? Sometimes even a seam in close fitting clothes can irritate the skin and cause this.Better to see your GP who can give you a proper ointment but you can buy 1% hydrocortisone at a chemist if you wish . If it doesnt improve after a week or becomes worse then stop using it. You could also try Aveeno cream for dry skin at most supermarkets. Use at night.

If you get this a lot then your doctor may give you a prescription for something more suited to you.
