Ive lowered my dose of fluoxetine from 40 mg to 20 mg feeling very anxious and scared

ive had to lower my dose to 20 mg, i was on 40 mg fluoxetine. It isnt helping me and making me gain alot of weight i will eat everything and anything and its making my depression amd anxiety worse, my doc seems to think i have symptoms of adhd talking to a pyschiatrist next week, fingers crossed he gives me something that gets my head right my anxiety is also through the roof 😦
