Balanitis is a term for the presence of irritation and / or redness on the head, foreskin or near the top of the shaft of the penis - what we need to discover is the source of the irritation or whether there is a health issue to the skin, or broader, that is causing it.

How long ago did you first notice this?

Do you have skin problems anywhere else on you body?

Typically how frequently would you masturbate prior to taking the recent break?

Would you use anything as a lube for masturbation, or even apply anything prior to, during or after masturbation, usually?

With what do you wash your penis?

Would it be possible for you to see a Dermatologist ....... ?

1st noticed it the 2nd week of November, never had skin problems before,id typically bate once a day sometimes twice...I would use KY jelly and equate version of personal lubricant....I prefer the KY jelly and use water occasionally with it to make it super slick...I would jus wash up with warm water afterwards or take a shower...I havent been able to see a dermatologist yet...but I noticed today that skin is peeling on my shaft and on the bottom side of the head...

I would suggest that if you want to help your penile skin to abstain from masturbation until you have some effective medication in place, preferably after you have seen a Dermatologist

If you can update your Forum Post here after you have seen the Dermatologist that would be helpful ....
