where do I sign up for trial? A very willing volunteer! 😭 , I'm going through a miserable time, friends. I sometimes wonder if GP, rheumatology specialists, friends and family really understand? Of course they can't, that would be impossible. Yet, here I am in bed at 1721, aching all over. When I dream, I'm active, riding horses, running, laughing and carefree. Then I wake, and start uncurlinģ the hands, try to stretch legs and reach for painkillers. And my 1st thought is- another blooming day to endure. I cannot remember a good day this year. Any tips greatly appreciated. Wishing ýou well and no pain.
my employer finished me on grounds of ill health last year, against my wishes. I have no kids (I'm 51) and used to be super fit and active. I feel I have nothing to live for, what's the point? This is progressive. Hell, what's it going to be like when I'm 61? I cannot getting motivated at all. I'm trying in some small ways, I've joined a choir as I thought it may lift my spirits which it does but sometimes it's too jolly painful to getting there. Also, I am trying to form a patient support group in Cumbria for people like us. With support from PAPAA. But, as I said, it's difficult to motivate me when pain and fatigue are knocking the energy out of you. Cheerful replies, tips welcome. In fact an reply is most welcome. I feel so alone and sad.

Sheila, remember that Pa is the body trying to repair itself and research has pinned it down to a protein called Interleukin 2. So it shouldn't be long before they find out how to stop he body wrongly repairing itself.
the drug above does that - I believe - but I don't know how to get on the series of tests being done with it.
in the meantime can you get steroid injections?
