Hi, I have been suffering from jaw pain since I started perimenapause. My dentist thinks I gringo my teeth in my sleep. It is possible because I woke up with very tight mouth/jaw with massive pain some nights. My jaw pain is near my right ear. It is very painful. If I open.my.mouth wide to bite it cracks too. sad How and where exactly your pain? Have you seen a DR or dentist?

I’ve been told by dr and dentist in the past that I have tmj but it’s not really bothered me until the last year....ironically when I started having other Peri symptoms. Of course lol

Today is intermittent jaw pain (gone for the moment) and back right side head pain and ear will be clogged now and then

Hi jaqueline, yes unfortunately it is still the same. It doesn't hurt all the time. But it is there and sometimes when I yawn etc it makes a big clicking noise too. sad

I have literally had my jaw lock up for a few minutes after waking in the morning. Other than that, the feeling I get is jaw tension. Hurts right up there in the joints on both sides. It's hit and miss for me. Some cycles I have it and other times I don't.
