Hi. I'm no doctor but I feel pressure in my jaw and pain across my teeth but I know that I clench my teeth alot. I think that is maybe a more logical reason. I would imagine heart issues would cause other symptoms as well but I do understand where you're coming from. I'm pretty sure I've Googled it in the past (I've Googled most things!). All that really does is push the anxiety up even more.

    Hi, Elaine.

With my serious anxiety and panic disorder, my jaw is constantly tense, with my back teeth left feeling sensitive and sore. I actually had a mouthpiece made for better sleeping at night, due to the intense pressure I put on my teeth and jaw. Anxiety and stress absolutely can cause jaw tension and pain, and throughout the face.

Do you have annual bloodwork done with your gp? If so, your gp most likely checks through report to be sure no off levels. So if they are also saying stress, try doing some jaw massages. Keep in mind also that a tense jaw may get worse from certain foods- like meat, nuts, etc.

Be easy on yourself. And remember that you are not alone ❤️
