I am having tests for breathlessness. I also have a red rash on my knees that comes and goes. I have had a 6 min walking test. Lung function tests show poor gas exchange. Normal chest x rays, CT scan of lungs and heart scan. Rheumatologist mentioned pulmonary hypertension but chest specialist says no. It isnt asthma either. Has anyone else had similar symptoms. I am starting to feel dizzy now

My lung function showed the same. The hemotologist said my blood cells were too large to carry oxygen throughout the body. Said it has to do with my bone marrow not making proper blood cells. He wanted to do a bone marrow biopsy , but I didn't want it. He said there was no cure , so I don't see the need for a biopsy. But it hasn't affected my daily living . Called erothycytosis , I think.

Have you been tested for MS?
I don't know why I mention this...but if the Rheumatologist doesn't find anything in your blood work...than possibly a Neurologist?
