Joining the Xenical Orlistat gang! lol!

Hi Guys,
Just thought i'd \"blog\" my (hopeful) weight loss story! I just went to my GP to get Xenical as a last ditch attempt at losing weight \"naturally\" before looking into gastric bands / other surgeries. After having a baby 6 months ago, I still weigh a back-breaking 254lbs. At 5foot 4 this is massively over-weight and coming from someone who only weighed 105lbs a few years ago - is very hard to swallow (pity all the food hadnt been, aye??)
My GP has given me 12 weeks supply and I start them tomorrow! Wish me luck! I have to lose 9lbs (5%) in these first twelve weeks, and I'm optimistic as thats less than 1lb a week and I plan to follow a low-fat diet and exercise 3-5 times a week. Just invested in a home cross-trainer and a treadmill so there's no going back this time!
I currently wear a size 22-24 (bottom) and 20-22 (top). I am hoping to eventually be around 126lbs and a UK size 10 - a mammoth challenge and half my body weight but I;m nothing if not optimistic and determined!!
Wish me luck, I'll update regularly to let you know how I get on!
Love Soon-to-be- Yummy-Mummy!

Welcome aboard, good for you, you are in a great place for support and help. I started with very similar stats as you and i was worried about not losing enough but i easily lost the 5% in six weeks went i went back to the docs.
Just wanted to ask if you could let me know the details of the cross trainer you have invested in as i have been thinking of getting another one, my last one went to the tip regrettably, it was unconfortable as it was a sit on job aswell but i want another one that you just stand on and wondered how you are getting on with yours ?
Anyway, feel free to PM me if you would like to
Good luck
