Hi lindy. I read on one of the threads for joint pain one teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of water with effervescent vit C works but I haven't tried it. I'll confirm exact dosage later.

I started that yesterday or the day before, I have not noticed any changes, I am still in pain. I will report more later. I have read about these 4 items that help pain and here they are: Ginger capsules (250 mg, 4 times a day):

A 2009 study found that ginger capsules were as effective as mefenamic acid and ibuprofen in relieving pain in women with primary dysmenorrhea or pain associated with their menstrual cycle (4)

      Holy Basil (Tulsi):

Another study found holy basil, also known as Tulsi, to contain anti-inflammatory compounds with similar effects as ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin. (5)

      Turmeric extracts:

Turmeric extracts are as effective as ibuprofen for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, and cause fewer gastrointestinal issues, too. (6)

      Cherries and Berries:

Another study found that anthrocyanins, extracted from raspberries and sweet cherries, were as effective as ibuprofen and naproxen at suppressing inflammation-associated enzyme. (7)

      Omega-3 fatty acids:

A 2006 human study found that omega-3 fatty acids (between 1200-2400 mg daily) were as effective as ibuprofen in reducing arthritis pain and without side effects. (8)

    sorry

heres a full copy paste of what another member wrote -

A level teaspoon of natural sea salt dissolved in a glass of water with a 1000mg effervescent vitamin C tablet twice a day for one week has TOTALLY CURED my joint pain.  In fact by day 4 I was already almost pain free.  Try it! It may be that the menopausal flushes and sweating mean we have lost vital salts from our system.  Make sure you use natural sea salt not table salt which is from rock salt and highly processed and bad for you.

I had much the same, I used an elastic support bandage worn on my elbow, and did various exercise I found on the Internet, swinging my arm round and round and back and forth, and it really helped and I'm fine now.
