Jones Fracture advice needed.

I feel off a ladder and suffer a Jones fracture. I also rolled my ankle and had severe swelling. The break was pretty bad as the bones were separate all the way across by about an 1/8 of inch or more. I was in a cast for 3 weeks and a walking boot for 3 weeks. Doctor told me I was clinically healed saying the bone was 70% mended. There was pain with every step as I tried to walk heal to toe with every step. At first it seemed to get a little better after weeks 7,8, and 9, but I've developed a sharp pain in my lower left back. It seems to come and go, but often my back hurts pretty bad when weight is first placed on my heal. Any help and/or advice would be appreciated. I'm 47 relatively healthy, but a bit overweight.

Try a Chiropractor - you might need an alignment after favoring your bad foot. Once my daughter get the all clear we will be heading there for an alignment - her knee is bothering her for the same reason.
