I have been on it for 1 month. If anything, it has decreased my appetite so I would not personally consider lofepramine suitable to produce weight gain.....

    Good luck

    Hi

Ive been on these tablets several times over the years and i cant recommend them highly enough.Yes you do get the sweats and a dry mouth initially and the male orgasm feels \"different\" but not unpleasant. However, the anti depressant effect is marked and you will much better in 2...3 weeks max.My dose was 1x 70 mg tablet per day after an initial period of 3 mths on 2x 70 mg.

I tried several SSRI's before my doctor recommended these and im much happier knowing there is an effective treatment out there if it happens..(and im sure it will) again!

In terms of other treatments...just keep occupied and keep your mind off the problems until your medication makes you strong enough to deal with them.

    Good luck!
