Hi sarapainfree I asked for a home visiit as I struggle with stiars when I go out I have to use a wheelchair. plus Im in constant pain with my back and legs. this is the 2nd accessment I will be having. 1st one was at home also. Did you put for a home visit on your form. you could always ring them explain how your legs are and ask for a home visit. take care gentle hugs xx

Many of us have had to give up work because of fibro, those that do work struggle. none of us want to give up work but we dont always have a choice. I put in a claim for pip I didnt want to really claim anything. But the money helps for me to get aids to help me. Im saving at the min for a stair lift. have you thought about claiming esa or pip. take care xx

You arnt being silly at all, dont be so hard on yourself. its not your fault how you are none of us asked for fibro none of us want it. None of it is fault or doing. I dint want to claim it was my gp that insisted that i did as she wouldnt sign me fit for work. I hate having to cliam it. would sooner be out working earning my own money than have money off the state. But unfortunatly Im not a millionaire cant work so needs must.  people have been sacked through having fibro people I know that are working are having a tough time of it with employers if they need time off work. their lives are being made hell at work. its disgusting how we are treated. get some one to help you fill it in. it will have a date on the form when it has to be returned by. it has a booklet to guide you on how to fill it in. fill it in like its your worse day ever. it also helps if you have aids to help you bath board commodes walking stick walking frame bath rails special cups plates. also helps this is bad but they seem to take more notice if you have depression. it took my husband nearly 3hrs to fill form  in but we took our time read the booklet to quide us.get letters off dr rheumatologist any one that you see  to do with fibro.  take care
