There are MANY alternatives to help with osteoporosis and bone health in general. I've talked about this a LOT on the Hip Replacement group.

I just had about 6 oz of grass fed sirloin with chopped fresh garlic wedges....I know a lot of folks do the veg diets and I probably did years ago, but my body needs some animal protein.

The pharma drugs for osteoporosis cause a LOT of horrible side effects, worse than things are now....so I'd really think deeply on this.

Bone support needs are: Vit D3 and K2, magnesium, manganese, some calcium, boron and some others I can't think of now.One lady on another health board who has the osteoporosis dx also takes strontium which is otc.

      Hi Joy

I've been a vegetarian for about 30 years so I could no more eat meat than fly to the moon nowbiggrin I didnt become a vegetarian to do with health issues.

I've got Vit D3 prescribed from the GP.....no K2 or magnesium as far as I know. Calcium yes.  boron??? not sure what that is.

      Love

      Eileen
