Just been to see the chiropractor for the first time...

Hi everyone, I just wanted to talk a bit about my experience with a chiropractor today and my worries, I hope that’s okay.
Basically I think it all went quite well, she said my kyphosis is not the worst she’s ever seen. She did some of that cracking stuff on my back and some massaging and I think I feel a difference! But I have some worries and unanswered questions, I was wondering if you guys with your experience with kyphosis might be able to put my mind at rest. Firstly, she said that I most likely would have to keep myself in check forever. I’m not really sure what she meant, did she mean that I’m going to have to do exercises every day to make sure my kyphosis doesn’t keep getting worse and worse? Or will the treatment she’s giving me make sure of that and she just meant I’d kind of always have to be aware of myself and not let myself slump, etc? I think my kyphosis is postural by the way. I’m just so scared that if it is the case that i have to do exercises forever to keep my kyphosis from worsening that I’m not going to do them right or I’m going to slack on them at some point and then my kyphosis will get worse and I might end up fully bent over or something!! She did say that wasn’t likely, but before today I didn’t even think that was a possibility.
I hope no one minds me posting this! Thanks in advance.
A little bit about my kyphosis, I was around 10 when I first noticed the curve of my shoulders. I’m 17 now. The curve isn’t hugely noticeable but you can see that I look slumped over. I don’t get pain unless I’m sitting in a car, and sometimes on a chair or standing for long periods.
