Just completed a fitness to drive assessment.

Anyone on here done this?. I found it nerve racking and stressful.

Fortunately I passed, but now waiting on the dvla to give me my driving licence back.

I am hoping it's at least a three year one. I am 66 .

      3. Years ago when I was diagnosed diabetic type 2 I chose to take insulin. The diabetic support nurse said I had to notify the dvla that I was on insulin. Dvla gave me 3 year driving licence. Just before it expired I wrote to tell them I was now on tablets so didn't need to tell them. I also have a peripheral neuropathy which I was born with. They then wrote to my gp who informed them I have that disability. Hence they wanted me to have a medical fitness to drive assessment.

    Hi, where did you do the assessment? My licence has been revoked and I really want to try and prove I am fit to drive.
