It sounds like you're on the right track with your diet, as long as you're watching the sodium in your foods as well.
How is your stress level? That is another huge factor in high blood pressure. Make sure you're taking time to relax. Slow, deep breathing helps when you're under stress.
Also, are you getting enough sleep? They say the right amount to get is at least 7 hours a night. I've noticed when I don't get enough sleep that my blood pressure can go a bit higher.
Something you might try is apple cider vinegar. I know it sounds awful, but I've seen results from it. Just a couple teaspoons in an 8 ounce glass of water. If you need to get used to it, just try one tablespoon at first. You could also add a tsp of honey to make it more palatable.
Another common food you might try is celery. It has a phytochemical in it that actually relaxes the blood vessels so your blood can flow thru more easily. It's easiest to keep some cut up in the fridge and just snack on them once or twice a day. Personally, I aim for 2 stalks. I used to hate celery, but when I found out what it does for you, I decided to like it.
Hope this gives you some new ideas. Good luck!

Has your GP given you any reason why your BP readings are high? I would think that the GP might order some kidney function tests for you to make sure everything is working well. Your diet sounds fantastic by the way, well done! Do you exercise regularly, this can help lower BP as well. If you start researching High Blood Pressure online you can find so many really helpful ideas. I have recently started making a glass of fresh vegetable juice each day using green leafy veg, celery, carrot and an apple or some pineapple, this is supposed to be very good for our blood vessels. I certainly agree with lubj that stress can be significant and that deep breathing practice is very helpful.
Hope you are coping with the Amlo 10mg, and that it is helping to lower your BP. As you can see on this forum, many people have had difficulties with this med, I personally stopped taking it a month ago after persisting with it for four months with side effects.
Cheers
