Just diagnosed....experiencing lots of sx

Hello everyone, my name is Angie. I'm 27 years old and I was just diagnosed with a chiari 1. Three months ago I started having extreme pain in my skull and facial bones. Then I started noticing that my skull and bones in my face were growing/thickening, which has caused my eyes to become further apart. Since the skull growth started, I've also experienced an enlarged jaw, brain fog, fatigue, nausea, itchy head and skin, insomnia, extreme thirst etc. Not sure why my sx would be dormant until now Has anyone else had similar experiences?

    Hi dear

I don't want to misguide you, it looks like hormonal. Please check this Maya clinic site:

Oh man, I was hoping that my sx were related to chiari. I was just tested for acromegaly bc I thought I could have that. I took an MRI which didn't show a tumor and my growth hormone level wasn't elevated outside of what is concidered "normal ". Guess I'll have to get rechecked. Thanks .

What do you mean by “SX”? Also, I never heard of symptoms such as enlargening of facial bones/structure or jaw bones as a symptom of chiari type 1...? You may have a chiari type 1 and co-morbidity of some kind in addition

Mr neither until I experienced it. Think blackhawk3310 is right about it being acromegaly.
