Just diagnosed with dermoid ovarian cysts!

Anyone has the same experience? Just diagnosed with 2 dermoid cysts on the left ovary with one measuring 3.5cm and 1.5cm. Feeling the anxiety now and gynae suggest to remove both cysts as it will grow bigger. I'm so afraid that it will affect fertility after removal as I'm 29 this year planning for marriage. Saw from forum some women tried for years getting pregnant aft removal of dermoid cyst. Any advice?

    Hi ling!

I'm 20 years old and have a 8cm dermoid cyst in my left ovary. I know exactly how you feel. I went to two specialist and they both stated that you can still concieve perfectly fine after removing a dermoid cyst. My specialist even stated that their patients concieved 3 kids on one ovary!

Hopefully this eases your mind. Could I ask what method are you doing to remove the dermoid cyst?
