Just feel awful

I feel so run down lately. Seems to happen at Xmas time each year, my health anxiety increases. My BP goes up and down yet I am medicated. I feel so tired, achey and feel fluey/sinusy. My diet hasn't been the best of late so I know that needs improvement. I just want to feel normal again, I can't even remember what normal feels like. I am really lacking motivation to do anything lately. I always think there is something wrong with me. Any ladies out there feel like this?

Hi Kylie i am exactly the same could go to bed forever lol.
I find this time of year overwhelming anyway i try and adopt the one day at a time mantra but its very difficult especially when you have an abundance of peri symptoms!
Good luck and take care x

Thanks again and Merry Christmas

Hi. I am the same. Always this time of year heightens my anxiety/health anxiety. My BP is up and down too. I am on Beta Blockers for fast heart rate. I am also achy and tired. A combination of perimenopause/recently had covid/and the beta blockers I think.
Be kind to yourself. Take each day at a time and try not to let it get on top of you. Are you taking vitamins? I'm taking magnesium, Vit D, Vit B, Vit C and a probiotic. They definitely help me.
Hugs xx

I was on Beta Blockers last year and they made me exhausted so I feel for you. Sorry that you have had Covid, I hope you have recovered. I am taking some vitamins called Happy Hormones, not sure if you have heard of them. I just need to take them more regularly, I am a bit slack with vitamins. Take Care and Merry Christmas

Put the vitamins somewhere where you'll be reminded each day. By the tea and coffee? Take them whilst you're making it?
How did you come off the beta blockers? Was it an awful withdrawal?
You take care too xxxx

thank you. Sorry for another question, did you just stop taking them or taper the dose down? I've read some horror stories about coming off them. I'm seeing a cardiologist in Jan and hope they will say I can stop taking them. xx
