Just found out i have both types on herpes

So I got my results back yesterday and to say I'm devasted is an understatement...I have both types of herpes...i have a few questions, first how do you know when a outbreak it coming. Also I have no clusters just a 2 single pimples one on inner thigh close to crease and another near hairline on pelvis..I also have a little pimple on my shoulder, 1 on back right calf below knee and 2 on the left calf....can you have herpes pop up all over like that and in pimple form rather than a cluster?....sorry if this sounds confusing..I am new to all of this..thanks

    When I get an OB, where ever the bump is coming in. I won't feel it just yet but that little area will kind of be sore. And a few days it comes. Or sometimes it just comes.

    Yes OB, don't always come in clusters, it can be one bump or 2 bumps.

    Also if you touch any infected area & touch another part of your body with out washing your hands, you can spread it there. Also, touching the bumps can make them irritable

      I'm good at washing my hands constantly but if I were to touch it and then touch one of my kids could they get it?

      Yes. I know you've heard stories of people with cold sores kissing kids & the kid would get herpes. You touching it then touching your kid, your self or any one else with out washing your hands. You can transfer it

    Idt it works like that. Usually you have an outbreak in the area that initially got infected. Some people don't have outbreaks at all. Others, when one is coming on they may feel tingling, pain or (for me) a little itching. Perhaps the pimples on your shoulder etc are just that..pimples. When you went to the doctor did they give you a swab test or blood?

      They did a blood test... None of the "pimples" hurt or itch..I have been having mild aches like my left shoulder and a few days ago I had a numbness/tingling sensation in right butt cheek and leg right below....my script is ready for pickup to take when i feel an outbreak coming but im just worried that I won't know the signs

    I have both types as well, but I have never had a cold sore in the 3 years I've had hsv1. My first GH outbreak I didn't even notice until I went pee and it felt like I was peeing on a scratch on my inner butt cheek. I usually don't have very many symptoms except for pain in my lower back and inner thigh, but it goes away very quickly. I usually don't notice my outbreaks until they start itching. Call your doctor and describe what you're feeling. That's how I knew my first one was an OB.

    Either that or you got bit by fire ants mine was about on my taint if you know what I mean. I was 18 had no idea what it was and course examining it and then oh my god what the heck is it so yes I have seen someone with a cluster on their side

      I was not finished. Anyway I want you to do three or four things for me and see how you feel take a cool below the belt shower gently rubbing soap all over your body instead of running with a ride or a scrubby paid rent with cool water dab dry if it starts to itch or if its in too much pain take aspirin three times a day if you can. Don't get stressed out I know you stressed about it but just say it's something I've got to deal with and if they say stress makes it worse and I have to not be stress but working out starting your period going to a reunion going in the heat of remind you going to suntan is a no-no while you have a break out no volleyball at the beach things like that you cannot be in the heat or friction or sex.while you're having it. Even masturbation can stress it out but I found I was stressed out and had to relieve some stress somehow by myself of course and if you have any toys wash them alcohol them whatever you can do this is a highly contagious disease especially when you have an outbreak. They say that you didn't get it without being in an active state. That has never ever happened to me!!

      I've had three husbands and none of them knew and I'm still friends with all of them and believe me by now I would have heard something. But the one on your shoulder unless you touch yourself and then it was an open blister and they touch your shoulder that would be kind of far fetched but you might remember how you got that there I wish you luck stay cool clean dry stress free friction free. Wash your hands wash your hands wash your hands under your fingernails too good luck to you don't forget to take a fever reducer if you want to put a bandaid over the sites that are obvious that would be a great idea let us know how it goes

      Thank you....I only found out yesterday....my vaginal lips are red and sore...I have no bumps or blisters there but is this the start of an outbreak?

      It could be but if you're on meds I would think it would stop it. If not get some before it really starts up!

      I just picked the meds up from the pharmacy....I was told not to start it until im about to have an outbreak...I was just wondering if that was a sign of one and other signs..thanks

      If I were you I'd take it just in case. Better safe than sorry!
