    Hi loza

Ive just had a 14cm dermoid cyst removed but it did cause me a lot of pain. Normally if it isnt causing any symptons they just monitor you for the first few months & if they get any bigger (6-7cm) then they will remove them. They can just go on there own or shrink, mine was 16cm bit shrank to 14cm. Please dont take any notice of google. You will have blood tests & scans every few months & if you start to get any pain etc you will go on the list for surgery

It sounds like you've already gone through a lot so i really hope your not to worried about it.

    Best wishes

I have a 5 cm dermoid cyst on my left ovary. I found out because I had pelvic pain and went to the emergency room. At first it was 4 cm then it grew to 5 in about 3 months. You can schedule an appointment with your gynecologist maybe 3 months later to see if it has grown. If it begins to grow it would be best to get it removed as it may cause pain later. The pain is horrible and debilitating. Best of luck to you!
