It will be a week on Saturday since I’ve found out i have GH. I keep reading that the first OB is the worst and i deff can agree i wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I think what I’m looking for on here though is advice i guess I’m more irritated at night then anything that it wakes me up I’m on my anti viral medicine 3x a day for 7days and man idk if it’s even working. I’ve been drinking a lot more water lately then i normally do. Also when you first found out how you take it?  It’s hitting me hard I’ve been in the depress state of mind lately cry every day since finding out and I’m constantly beating myself up even though i know there’s nothing i can really do about it now. Any advice or comments would deff be appreciated

I took it hard at first too, but now it doesn’t really bother me. I’m sure I will be upset when I have to tell a new partner that I have it. To me it doesn’t seem so bad most days I forget I even have it since I don’t get outbreaks that much but when I do they are not bad. Most of the time it is just one sore that shows up and goes away within 2 days.

Take a look at using Lysine supplements and the dietary concerns for high Arginine in the diet as it makes OB's worse. You can look up on the internet the foods with highest ratio of Lysine/Arginine. I was infected about 15 years ago and must be diligent to keep diet in check and start taking the meds as soon as you feel the prodrome whether or not you see anything. There's quite a bit of info on the web. Good Luck !!
