Just got diagnosis of OLP, which foods can I eat and which ones to stay away from?

I've found I react to pepper, honey, peppermint tea, chamomile tea; even oats and cinnamon. What do you react to? And what do you eat that does not cause any irritation?

For me I found making a paste with turmeric and applying it to the white areas really ease the pain.

    Hello,

So sorry to hear you have this horrible disease.

    i understand your pain.

When I have an active outbreak, everything irritates my sores.

However, I haven't found a direct link between specific foods causing an outbreak.

I believe my olp lesions are related to herpes simplex virus or Human papilloma virus based on my limited research.  Stress seems to contribute to outbreaks.

    Best wishes for your recovery.
