just got over flu, now i think i'm getting a cold ??

for the past two days, i've had the flu. been dealing with the whole fever, sore throat, cough, fever, muscle aches, etc. this morning i woke up and all my symptoms were gone, except for my cough and sore throat. i've also had some chest pain, but that might be because i've been coughing non-stop? i'm not sure. now i feel like i might be getting a cold. whenever i'm getting a cold, my first symptoms are a runny nose and watery eye(s). is it normal to get sick right after you stop being sick? could this be a sign of something serious?

i've got health anxiety, so i could be making a big deal about nothing, but i wanna know if i should go to the doctor or not. any help is appreciated!!

could be still getting over the flu, or you may be getting pnumonia.....I get chest pains when I have pneumonia  and sometimes no fever.

    Better get checked out.

It certainly is possible  I've already said this in another discussion but I became ill last December and was finally diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia for which I was given antibiotics.  My health didn't really improve and I am still unwell after 3 months.  I am having more tests but one thing the doctor said is that I could have got another virus on top of the mycoplasma.  Probably a good idea to ask for a blood test just in case.
