Just had my 2nd ectopic pregnancy in 1 year

I had a an ectopic pregnancy in March of 2014. I was giving the methotrexate shot and was having my HcG levels tested to make sure they where going down. They where a little but no much. I woke up at 4 in the morning a couple days later in the worst pain of my life (I have 3 kids, it was worse then labor pains) I was rushed to the ER and had emergency surgery to remove my left tube witch almost burst. It was the worst time time in my life. 

I waited 3 months to start trying to conceive again and was able to get pregnant in October of 2014. I was so scared that this pregnancy was going to have the same outcome as my last. I started having pains in my right side and then eventually started spoting. I was going in for HCG levels every 2 days and the where doubled good. Had an ultrasound and it showed nothing in right tube or uterus. The doctor was hopeful and Said I was early and they couldn't see the embro yet. A few days later I still wasn't feeling at ease so I went in for another ultrasound and the found something in my right ovary. I was devistated. I was giving the methotraxate shot today and will be seen again in 4 days and 7 days and there on until this ends. Or else it will be surgery again, praying for a good outcome. I would like to know if anyone has had two ectopics and then had a successful pregnancy? I am hopeful. But heartbroken at the same time. Please help....

    Hi...I know it's been months since this post but I too have had two ectopics this past year resulting in removal in left tube two days ago. I know what you've gone through. It's horrible. Did they have to do do surgery? I have faith I will still be able to get pregnant. I hope for the best for you.

    Hi jennifer, I hear your pain..I have been trying for ten years now. Doctors always told me I wouldn't be able to get pg because my fallopian tubes were blocked. Then surprisingly about 2 years ago I was pg but had a miscarriage. So that was very hard on me. Then almost a year ago I was shocked to find out I was pg again. It turned out that the baby was growing in my right fallopian tube.they did emergency surgery. I was in alot of pain and was bleeding internal..so they had to cut a piece of my tube to remove the baby..doctor also noticed a small mass in my left fallopian tube and they had to cut that piece out. I was devastated to know that now my only option is ivf. I was depressed for some time and at times it can be hard. My husbsnd and I really do desire a baby. Praying t hsat it all goes well.

    Hi sorry two here about ur loss . I had an etopick bqck in November .I wasn't put in for an op .they suggested expectant management .mine was different I was qbout 3 weeks pregnant I woke one morning at 530 with this unbearable pain that got worse and worse .buy the end of the day qbout 6 o'clock I had q gush of blood qnd their was me thinking I had severe constipation.that dqy I phoned my midwife pain had eased so they told me watch qnd wait .bloods showed my pregnancy levels had dropped buy 30% so was ending naturally and without treatment .I was so scared .I didn't get a period untill Christmas Eva then January was my normal date 21st I had 3 scans since that shows it had been absorbing and got smaller each scan.march niw qnd I just found out im pregnant again im stressing out incase it's qn etopick again.I had bloods done Friday so. Have to wait till Monday for results .im only about two weeks but my Feb period came early qnd wasn't normal so maybe implqntation bleed so could be four or more .im absolutely sh***ing my self waiting for an early scan.I cqn feel like flutters and staring to think it's an etopick again no. Paint just feels like muscle contractions .I was wondering if u felt like this like ur bad fallopian tube is contracting sort of thing xx

      Hi, I'm sorry your going through this. Yes I had a dul pain on that side. And I think the same thing is happening again. I am spotting and cramping, I'm not suppose to start my period until next week.

      I hope you scan goes good and your numbers go up. The waiting is the worst. Keep me posted.

      It's not hurting its like flutters im wondering if it's my left tube contracting . Me two and hope u rs goes ok .been trying two years now it's scary bowing it could happen again .fingers crossed for all us trying xx

    Hey , going through the same as all of youse at the min , had my first ectopic at October last year , ruptured & had surgery to remove my right tube , well iv not long found out I'm pregnant again & there suspecting the same thing I happening , having my hcg done every 2 days and its not doubling but still rising , nothing to be seen on the u\s apart from a sac & iv basically been givin the wait abd see card from this Monday till next .. I keep having strange pains witch I'm not sure is all in my head or not , but the pains are mainly on my right side ... But I have no tube there ? :\ was just wondering what you ladies thought , iv had no bleeding , but the hospital has really made me worry now . Thank you xxx
