Just have to vent , two issues!

So this is my situation. I knew I had prolapse of all three compartments, of which the uterine prolapse was really bothering me the last half year.Eleven weeks ago I therefore had a sacrospinous fixation and the gyn decided that it also lifted my bladder nicely. But it hasn’t which I also told her at my six week check up. Still she said, no everything looks fine. Same thing went I went back a few weeks later and had another gyn, she checked cause I asked and she also said I was fine and not a severe prolapse. Well, my front and back wall are about half a centimeter inside which just want to make me cry. I feel betrayed in a way, because they were supposed to fix what was needed. 😭😭

the other issue is, there still is an itchy/burning spot somewhere inside in/on the backwall. Went to my gp for this on Monday and she tried to contact my gyn to get an appointment w and asked for a call back. Well, I am still waiting for a call from my gp that she has spoken to her. And I am still itchy inside!

I am sorry, I just needed to vent a bit. I don’t know what to do anymore. My husband says, get a second opinion. I just want to feel normal and get on with my Life.

Hi, sorry you’re having such a miserable time.

In case you haven’t done so, ask your gynae to examine you standing up. When I knew my prolapse was back, 5 months after my first operation, my doctor said everything was fine. When she examined me standing up she immediately confirmed I was right and I was referred to a urinogynaecologist.

If you were aware of this and have already had a “ standing” examination, then I reckon your husband is right.

If you post again, giving a rough idea of where you live, I’m sure one of us will be able to recommend the best person to consult.

    Good luck.

Hi, I am from Holland. I am getting a call back from the gyn late this afternoon, so I can tell what’s going on.

I wouldn't hesitate having another urogynacologist to examine me.

I did and got the answers I already knew.

It's your right and your piece of mind.

I would even travel to a good one that has great review's.

I research mine back home in Wales.paid £100 to see him and travelled 4 hrs.. I'm so glad I did.. I had to have another anterior repair and tvh as my uterus had dropped withing the 1 years while I arranged the surgery around work etc.x
