Just neck strain?

Hello,

I have recently been diagnosed with a panic disorder, since then (4 months ago) I have been getting very bad pain in the sides and front of my neck.

My anxiety is being treated with medication and I’m feeling great in that area but my neck has me worried there could be something els going on?

Originally I thought it could just be strain or a tension headache, but no meds stretching or ice/heat is making it go away permanently..

Could this be something els? I keep fearing that I have some kind of blockage in my artiteris although I did have an echo which was clear..

Any wisdom would be great!

It sounds like your emotional discomfort has taken up residence in your neck. My thought is, don't stretch your neck no matter what. Let it rest and force yourself to leave it alone. Don't ice it, and especially no heat. Just leave it alone and let it heal.
