may i apologise in advance as im feeling sorry for myself.
iv been in peri and menopause hell for the last eight years with the added illnesses if IBS , a pituarty tumour , hypoclycemia and low blood pressure and pulsatile tinnitus. These have all contributed to my feeling worse going through this time.
i often feel off balance and a bit dizzy but friday i had to hold on to things getting round the house so i made an appointment at the GP's who said it sounds like menieries disease but didn't ask me if i felt i was spinning and being sick. i really can't cope with another thing. im being sent the hospital for tests which i hope they will prove its not menieries disease as you can eventually loose all sense of balance.
i just cant cope with all this and now my anxiety is rearing its head today so thought id write to you supportive ladies.
i appreciate we'r all suffering so sorry to moan xx

thank you diane for your reply i do appreciated it. i can't have HRT because of the pituarty tumour and it being a hormone imbalance .
yes i get the shaking in the legs too especially in the mornings or sometimes all day.
so sorry you have pins & needles that must be so annoying, its the one symptom iv not experienced yet and hope not to get it, i hope things improve for you.

yes of course you can.
Back in 2002 i was having period problems & the GP took some blood tests which showed i had s high prolactin level, i then got an appointment with a endocrologist and had a MRI of my brain which showed a 4mm tumour, i was on medication since then up to last year when the Doctor took me off them as my levels had stayed stable for some time. unfortunately iv really suffered through peri and menopause with having this tumour as its hormone related and i cant take HRT. i dont know whst my prolactin level is at the moment as iv should see the doctor every 6 months to check me but because of Covid iv not seen him for over s year

o right curious because i keep wondering if thats what happened to me as my period just stopped out of the blue & i only had a hormone check dr put me on hrt but then started getting loads of shaking jerking come off them & started feeling strange i'm still convinced there is a problem with my gland hope i can get to the bottom of these health issues soon but really think it might of been linked..could do with a mri now just to check whats going on..thanks for getting back to me!
