Just started, and I would have to say the 'sedative' side-effects seem to have been greatly exaggerated..
I've had my starting dose of 50mg (few hours ago) and feel absolutely fine (IMHO, capable of driving, but I wouldn't risk it)..
Also taking Citalopram (for depression) and Propanolol (for anxiety) - and a stash of Diazepam for 'as and when'
Will let you know how I get on !!!

I have now been on these for a good while, as you can see from my first post.
No drowsiness or any other side effects so to speak of - just great difficulty in getting up!
If I take this at say, Midnight - it wont let me get up until 3pm the following day. If I get up before that time I will feel utterly fatigued, drained and almost will have to go back to bed.
Whilst it doesn't help me get to sleep, it greatly improves the quality of sleep - as you can sleep uninterrupted for 12 hours or so - so has great advantage over Benzo's and Z drugs!
I'm now on 300mg. I was put up to 500mg, but that was too much

I also complained to my gp that I was becoming a hypocondriact ( which is probably true) as I was complaining about joint pain-ive noticed my joints more than one, have become inflamed and this stuff is getting the blame. None of this is right and id rather be drinking tons than fearing passing out because ive eaten a bag or crisps or having RA| before i am 35 thanks. Has anyone experienced simialr?. The seatdative effects are great, and so on, but im worried about these side effects-and its a low dose!

I'm already chatting with the others who are talking cipramil.
I just found you here.
I'm on seroquel 300mg for the last 3 weeks, along with 50mg cipramil.
Just wondering had you any side effects. I'm very sleepy on them. But my main problem is constipation. Did you have any problems with this.
Thanks
