Just tired of all this

Hi everyone I've had UC for 15 years haven't really been on meds turned to smoking to help since the GI doctor I had wouldn't listen to me about the mesalamine drugs not agreeing with me. I had a major flare back in dec 2016 put me in the hospital. They did a CT scan with contrast and it showed my inflammation was in the transverse colon. That flare came when I stopped smoking I've since turned to smoking but having issues again just not seeing blood and I'm in overdrive on panicking about colon cancer. I'm way over due for a colonoscopy and I'm making myself sick over this I don't want to die on my kids from this disease. Would a CT scan show masses?

CT scan would show a tumor or mass. Depends what kind of contrast was used, ask your GP. By smoking do you mean cannabis?
