Just upped from 5mg to 10mg of paraxotine and cant take a nap during day I get

Just upped from 5mg to 10mg of paraxotine and cant take a nap during day I get a huge surge adrenaline rush right when I pass over to sleep. This only happens during the day on weekends or trying to take a nap outside my normal sleeping hours.

Does anyone get this?  I have been on 10mg for 4 days now.

    Hi Rob, Yes when I first started Paroxetine at 10mg I couldn’t fall asleep even though I was exhausted. Every time I could feel myself drifting into sleep, my mind would just jolt me back awake. It was awful. It did go away for me though. My doctor got me to have a day break between the dose and Tye side effect went away. Cheers, Dani

      Thank you. I am about 6 days in on 10mg. Good day yesterday no klonopin needed, today i feel exhausted fatigued though for no reason. Maybe because the 6 hours sleep I can only get.   I may try to take a nap now but ..........jolt probably will wake me up wink
